Dr Jacopo Castelnuovo, within the project COR-Continuing Education, is involved in organizing and teaching “in-office” courses offered to a maximum of eight partecipants.

Topics include: prosthodontics, periodontics, implant dentistry, aesthetics. Courses are offered both in Italian and English.

Dr. Jacopo Castelnuovo graduated from the University of Rome – Tor Vergata, School of Dentistry, Italy in 1992.

From 1994 to 1996 he was enrolled in the Combined Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry Postgraduate Program at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, CA, USA where he also conducted extensive research at the Biomaterials Research Center.

In 1999 completed a three-year Postgraduate Program in Prosthodontics at the University of Washington School Of Dentistry, Seattle Wa, USA, where he received a Certificate in Prosthodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry degree. As a Diplomate of the American Dental National Board and Western Regional Board he maintains a dental license from the State of Washington.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics (AAFP). He lectures extensively nationally and internationally.

He practices in Rome at the COR Center for Oral Rehabilitation.

1989 - Graduated cum laude in dentistry at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".

1990-93 - Enrolled in a three year program at Boston University Goldman School of Graduate Dentistry, under the guidance of Dr Herbert Schilder. During these years he accomplished clinical work as well as teaching assignments, earning him a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Endodontics. After developing an original research work he obtained his Master of Science in Dentistry (Endodontics).

1995-96 - Clinical director of the course of Endodontics for Periodontics, at the University of Padua.

2003 - Winner, together with Dr. Franco, of the Garberoglio Prize for the best Scientific Work at the XXIV Congress of the Italian Society of Endodontics.

Speaker at several national and international congresses and meetings, and author of several scientific articles and endodontic publications.

Active member of the AAE (American Association of Endodontists).

Active member of the AIOM (Italian Academy of Microscopic Dentistry) and member of the commission for accepting new active members, as well as member of the commission for developing guidelines.

Active member of SIE (Italian Society of Endodontics) and member of the scientific editorial board for the Italian Journal of Endodontics, as well as member of the commission for developing guidelines.

He currently practices in Rome, limited to Endodontics.

Simone Verardi D.D.S., M.S.D.

Dr. Simone Verardi graduated from the School of Dentistry of the Universita’ di Roma "La Sapienza" in 1998. In 2000 he completed a Post-Graduate course in Regenerative Periodontal Surgery at the Federico II University of Naples.

In 2001 he moved to the United States of America and attended the specialty program in Periodontics at the University of Washington of Seattle, WA. In 2004 he thus received the Certificate in Periodontics and also a Master of Science in Dentistry.

Soon after he became a full time Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics of the University of Washington. In 2004 he received the Award for Outstanding Research from the California Society of Periodontists. In 2005 he became a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.

Dr. Verardi has published several scientific articles and lectured in Europe and in the United States. He is Reviewer for the Journal of Periodontology. He is the current President of the Schluger-Ammons Study Club and is member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration and of the Italian Society of Periodontology (SIdP). He is also an Affiliate Faculty at the Master in Periodontology of the Universita’ di Roma "La Sapienza".
