Dr Jacopo Castelnuovo graduated from the University of Rome,Tor Vergata, School of Dentistry in 1992. From 1994 to1996 he was enrolled in the Combined Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry Postgraduate Program, at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, California, USA where he also conducted extensive research at the Biomaterials Research Center.

In 1999 he completed a three-year Postgraduate Program in Prosthodontics at the University of Washington School of Dentistry, Seattle, Washington where he received a Certificate in Prosthodontics and a M.S.D. degree. As a Diplomate of the American Dental National Board and Western Regional Board, he maintains a State of Washington Dental License.

He is an active member of the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics (AAFP), and American Academy of Restorative Dentistry (AARD), of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (IAED), and is a Fellow of The International College of Dentists (ICD). He lectures extensively both nationally and internationally.

He practices in Rome at the COR-Center for Oral Rehabilitation.

Born in Rome in 1964, he graduated cum laude in dentistry from the University of Rome Tor Vergata in 1989.From 1990-1993 he collaborated (as a clinician and teacher) at the Department of Endodontics of Boston University, directed by Prof. H. Schilder, obtaining the Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Endodontics and a Master of Science in Dentistry (Endodontics) producing an original research work. During the academic year of 1995-96 he directed the Endodontics Course in the specialization program of Periodontics at the University of Padua. In 2003, he won, together with Dr. Franco, the Garberoglio Prize for the best Scientific Work at the XXIV Congress of the Italian Society of Endodontics. He is a speaker at national and international congresses and lectures, and author of several publications. Active member of the AIOM (Italian Academy of Microscopic Dentistry) and member of the commission for accepting new active members, as well as member of the commission for developing guidelines. Active member of SIE (Italian Society of Endodontics) and member of the scientific editorial board for the Italian Journal of Endodontics, as well as member of the commission for developing guidelines. He currently practices Endodontics in Rome.

Dr Davide Mirabella

Dr. Mirabella was born in Catania in 1966. He graduated in Dentistry at the University of Catania in 1989, followed by a specialization in Orthodontics at the University of Washington and an M.S.D. in 1993. This was followed by a post-doctoral program in Lingual Orthodontics in 1995 at the University of Cagliari, and a specialization in Orthodontics in 2000. He works as an independent professional in Orthodontics in Catania, and in Rome at the COR-Center for Oral Rehabilitation. He is Adjunct Professor at the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Ferrara. His papers have been published in national and international journals, and he has been the speaker at national and international conferences. From 2004 to 2005 he was SIDO Cultural Advisor. He is a member of SIDO and AAO and a Founder Member of the Italian Academy of Orthodontics.

Dr Simone Verardi

Dr. Verardi graduated from the School of Dentistry of the University of Rome La Sapienza in 1998, followed, in 2000, by a post-graduate Specialization in Regenerative Periodontal Surgery at the University of Naples Federico II. In 2001, he moved to the United States where he completed a three-year Specialization in Periodontics at the University of Washington, Seattle, in 2004. He also obtained a Master of Science in Dentistry at that same university. This was followed by an Assistant Professorship in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Washington, where he also carried out research in collaboration with the University of Rome La Sapienza. In 2004, he received First Prize for Outstanding Research in Periodontics from the California Society of Periodontists. In 2005, he passed the admission examinations of the American Board of Periodontology (Diplomate). He has published clinical and research papers in international journals and has been speaker in conferences both in Italy and the United States. He is a Reviewer for the Journal of Periodontology. He is President of the Schluger-Ammons Study Club, member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the Academy of Osseointegration, and the Societa’ Italiana di Parodontologia. He is also a docent of the Master in Periodontology of the University of Rome La Sapienza. He practices Periodontics in Rome.
